2010 Tony Nominations Announced!

May 3, 2010

It’s the most wonderful time of the year — for the Broadway community, that is! As we’re busy working on the July/August BROADWAY themed issue of Dance Spirit, triple threats across the Great White Way are celebrating the just-announced nominations for the 64th Annual Tony Awards. The nominations were announced by “Glee” and Spring Awakening star Lea Michele (love her!) and God of Carnage‘s Jeff Daniels at The New York Public Library for Performing Arts.

Leading the nominations this year with 11 nods a piece are Fela! and the revival of La Cage aux Folles. The Tony Awards will air live from Radio City Music Hall on CBS June 13. Here’s the full list of nominees. Congratulations to all!
