Imagine being able to dance in your spring concert with a professional ballet dancer—and not just any ballet dancer, but New York City Ballet Principal Daniel Ulbricht. That is exactly what students at the Ballet Academy East got to do this past weekend.
 

I went to the BAE Spring Performance expecting to see some great ballet and some beautiful up-and-coming ballerinas. But I got extra pumped to see Daniel’s name in the program. I couldn’t help but be a bit jealous of level-8 dancers Katherine Kim and Laura Wolfe, who got to partner with Daniel during Coppélia Act III. Awesome job girls!
 

I’m so glad I got to attend this performance. Everyone did an amazing job and the talent is obvious. I can’t wait to see these students gracing stages across the country in the next few years!
