Buy Signed Pointe Shoes, Support New Beginnings in Nepal

August 30, 2015

It’s truly inspiring when the dance community comes together to support people in need. After the devastating earthquakes in Nepal this spring, for instance, Martha Graham Dance Company principal Lloyd Knight directed Dance for Nepal, a concert to benefit the Disaster Recovery Institute Foundation’s Nepal Relief Fund.

Now, other dancers are doing their part to help Nepal, too. Cloud & Victory is selling autographed pointe shoes donated by leading international ballerinas, including Diana Vishneva, Maria Kochetkova and Michaela DePrince. Titled Points for Nepal, the fundraiser benefits two organizations that aim to rebuild shelters for children: WorldVision International and The Little Bells Promiseland Project.

Shoes are going fast—but there are still many pairs left, including pointes from DS cover stars Miko Fogarty and Juliet Doherty and Michaela DePrince! Visit the Pointes for Nepal website to read more about the fundraiser.
