Ballet is one of the most glamorous art forms in the world. Paris is one of the most glamorous cities in the world. Vogue is one of the most glamorous publications in the world. Combine the three, and you get some head-explodingly beautiful stuff. And who doesn't love head-exploding beauty?
In honor of Benjamin Millepied's first season as artistic director of the renowned Paris Opéra Ballet, Vogue photographed Millepied and model Natalia Vodianova in the regal surroundings of the Palais Garnier. The dance-o-meter isn't super high here; Millepied, a former New York City Ballet principal, doesn't show off any moves himself. But POB étoile Hervé Moreau does make a cameo, as do some of the company's corps members. And the Palais Garnier is, like pretty much all things Parisian, insanely gorgeous.
