Janelle Monáe Does It Again

It feels like it was just yesterday we were gushing about Janelle Monáe’s amazingly quirky single, “Q.U.E.E.N.” (I mean, it was only two months ago—dang, girl!) But now, here we are yet again obsessed with another one of her just-released videos, “Dance Apocalyptic.”

In a departure from her signature look, Monáe literally lets down her hair in this bizarre “American Bandstand” meets the end-of-the-world video. It’s totally insane—and I love it. The choreography’s as catchy as the lyrics, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see people busting out the moves at a party.
