"DWTS" Week 6: Famous Dances Night

April 25, 2016

Ok, the couples seriously brought it last night on “Dancing with the Stars” Famous Dances night. And yes, football legend Doug Flutie was voted off (We’re bummed. Even the audience was sad to see him go, booing and chanting “Flutie! Flutie!” after it was announced), but the night gave us some fantastically fun dances.

The opener was a glitzy little number to “Puttin’ On the Ritz.” Next up was Kim Fields and Sasha Farber’s
Hairspray

jive to “You Can’t Stop the Beat,” which was fun and energetic, and even drew praise from judge Len Goodman.

Other highlights included Jodie Sweetin and Keo Motsepe’s edgy and cool contemporary piece to “Try” by Pink. Sweetin powered through an injury and delivered a truly moving performance.

Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas’ Austin Powers jazz dance to “Soul Bossa Nova” was super groovy, psychedelic and so entertaining; everything we’ve come to expect from Famous Dances night.

And the best dance of the night came from Wanyá Morris and Lindsey Arnold, who earned a near perfect score for their AWESOME jazz dance to NSYNC’s “Bye Bye Bye.” It. was. the. greatest.

Let us know who your favorites were!
