"DWTS" Week 7: Halloween

March 22, 2017

It’s Halloweeeeeeeeeeeeen! (Can you tell it’s my favorite holiday?) Obviously, dancers do Halloween best, and last night’s episode of “Dancing with the Stars” drove that point home.

Despite the fact that no one was even remotely terrifying, the episode was still highly entertaining.

Bad news first: Last night we said goodbye to cutest-person-ever Hayes Grier. He left on a high note, dancing an emotionally charged waltz (as a werewolf) choreographed by partner Emma Slater, and earning respectable scores from the judges.

Now for the good news: Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough continued to dominate with a textbook Argentine tango in which Irwin became a vampire queen and scared absolutely nobody. But, the judges loved it and the couple earned their second straight week of perfect 10s.

Later, we got to see some super-fun group numbers from Team #Nightmare (Tamar Braxton, Val Chmerkovskiy, Nick Carter,  Sharna Burgess, Andy Grammer, Allison Holker, Hayes Grier and Emma Slater) and Team #WhoYouGonnaCall (Binid Irwin, Derek Hough, Alexa PenaVega, Mark Ballas, Carlos PenaVega, Witney Carson, Alek Skarlatos and Lindsay Arnold).

Team #Nightmare totally nailed a monster dinner party, while Team #WhoYouGonnaCall performed a not-as-great Ghostbusters-themed dance.
