We were all so lucky to spend some time with our cover model this month, Rasta Thomas. But the highlight for me was definitely attending a private rehearsal at the Met! ABT’s press representative met me at the stage door on 66th Street and escorted me up and down stairwells and down long hallways…until we finally reached a big rehearsal studio. I tried to be unobtrusive while Rasta rehearsed (with his double layered sweatpants falling down) with ABT principal Xiomara Reyes, choreographer Lar Lubovitch and Lar’s two assistants. I felt like I was in Robert Altman’s movie The Company! (Which, if you haven’t seen, you must rent immediately.)
