And the 2018 Best Choreography Emmy Goes to...

First, huge congrats to the five exceptional choreographers nominated for 2018 Emmy Awards. These days, with all the fabulous dancing happening on the small screen, the choreo category is routinely stacked. But the 2018 group—Chloe Arnold (a first-timer!), Mandy Moore, Travis Wall, Al Blackstone, and Christopher Scott—was even more stacked than usual. Seriously, we didn't know who to root for going into this weekend's Creative Arts Emmys ceremonies.

So, who took home the top prize last night, during the second evening of the two-night Creative Arts Emmys extravaganza?

That'd be Moore, who earned the statue for two works she created for "So You Think You Can Dance" Season 14: "Brand New" (aka the epic, chill-inducing group number that introduced us to the season's Academy dancers) and "To Make You Feel My Love" (a meltingly gorgeous duet for Taylor Sieve and All-Star Robert Roldan). It's Moore's second win, after last year's triumph for two "Dancing with the Stars" routines.

Congratulations, Mandy! And for your viewing pleasure, here are the rest of this year's (very worthy) Emmy-nominated numbers:

It's usually right around the third or fourth week of "So You Think You Can Dance" audition rounds that we start itching for the live shows. Sure, the auditions are fun, inspiring, and entertaining, but at a certain point, we reach audition saturation. (And the live shows are just so good and feature so much more Cat Deeley.)

All that said, Nigel and co. kept things spicy this week, so our attention remained firmly glued to the screen. (It's been 16 seasons—who are we to doubt Nigel Lythgoe, sir?) Here's how it all went down.
