Ballet legend David Hallberg and hip-hop dancer Metter Towley may seem like an unlikely pair, especially on the dance floor—but Revlon's new "Lash Loudly" mascara campaign proves otherwise. The ad features Hallberg and Towley as they freestyle to the song "Flava" by Princess Nokia. And surprisingly, the contrasts between these two dancers and their dance genres actually compliments their individuality on and off the dance floor.
"Live Boldly champions those who set bold goals, who break barriers, and who bring others along with them, such as Mette Towley and David Hallberg," Revlon said on the video's YouTube page. Who better to embody a campaign that focuses on living boldly than dancers? From expressing their thoughts and ideas through movement to sharing those thoughts and ideas in a performance in front of an audience, dancers choose to be fearless and brave on a daily basis. So to all you dancers out there remember to "live boldly" and take risks because that's what dancing is all about. We're so here for Revlon recognizing that and giving Hallberg and Towley a chance to show just how fearless they can be.

In today's dance world, versatility is key. It's not enough to be a master of one style—even when they specialize in one area, dancers are frequently asked to fuse multiple genres, or step out of their comfort zone for specific projects. With their wide variety of summer programs, Joffrey Ballet School aims to prepare dancers for the demands of a professional career. We asked five faculty members to share how they do this:
Right now, it seems like the entire world is equal parts obsessed with and thoroughly creeped out by Jordan Peele's Us, the horror film about devilish doppelgängers that's currently rated 94% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.
But while the normal human reaction to Us is to hide under the covers for approximately 17 years, "Step Up: High Water" superhero Kendra "K.O." Oyesanya's reaction was to make a totally bananas dance video.
