If Jenna Dewan has taught us anything these past few months, it's that dancing can truly heal the soul. Shortly after she and Channing Tatum split (and hearts around the world collectively broke), Dewan released a beautifully emotional video of herself dancing on a beach at sunset. It was pure, raw catharsis, and proof that the best way to handle your feelings is to dance through them. Now, in Harper's Bazaar, Dewan is dancing again—this time with a little help from a lot of sequins, fishnets, and shoulder pads.
Dewan, who sat down with the magazine to talk about "World of Dance," her split with Tatum, what her future holds, and more, had this to say when asked about what it was like to be on her own:
"I feel a sense of joy and freedom and excitement, truly, about a new chapter in my life. And I have no attachments to how that's going to look, or what that's going to be. I feel really open, and I feel hopeful."
That hopefulness is on full display in the story's accompanying video, where Dewan boogies down to iconic 80s songs, clad in sequined, bedazzled looks that would make any "DWTS" pro jealous. Check it out below, and catch the full interview here!
