You Better R-E-S-P-E-C-T This Sassy 6-Year-Old

Oh recital season...I can almost smell the hairspray. The end-of-the-year recital is a milestone; it's a time to look back on the progress you've made, and to look forward to what the next year may bring. It's also a time for the 3-bajillion munchkins you may or may not have even known existed at your studio to hit the stage.

If hearing songs like "Broadway Baby," "Baby I'm a Star" (not the Prince version...) or "Lollypop" brings you flashbacks of endless hours of boring baby-recital viewing, fear not. Six-year-old dancer Johanna Colon couldn't bore you if she tried. She's got too. much. sass.

Her 'tude is on point right now.

Actually, she's got just the right amount of sass. And the video of her dance class performing a tap number to Aretha Franklin's "R-E-S-P-E-C-T" made the interwebz explode this week. Not only does this tiny dancer nail every shuffle-hop-step. She gives the whole routine a dose of Johanna flair. Check her out!
