EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Eva Igo Returns to "World of Dance" and—WOW

Because winning the Junior Division on last summer's inaugural season of "World of Dance" (suuuuuuuuuuper casual) just wasn't enough.

ICYMI, Eva Igo is back on J.Lo's star-making show starting next week, and Dance Spirit is thrilled to premiere exclusive footage of her triumphant return. In this clip, 15-year-old Eva leaves it all on the dance floor (and then some) to a mesmerizingly spooky cover of "I Ran (So Far Away)." If your jaw is still on the floor from her performances last season, you might as well just leave it there because this. girl. is. insane.

Be sure to tune in to round four of the "WOD" Season 2 qualifiers on Tuesday, June 19 at 10 pm EST for even more Igo incredible-ness. If you need us in the meantime, we'll be watching her sensational, spectacular sequel solo on repeat.

Why More and More Men Are Dancing on Pointe

Like many professional dancers, New York City Ballet's Gilbert Bolden III is totally used to sharing pics and vids of his dancing on social media. But in the fall of 2018, the corps de ballet member hesitated before posting one particular clip. "I was extremely nervous the first time I posted a video of me dancing on pointe," he remembers. "It felt like a big step—almost like coming out. But not a single person was shady or unwelcoming!"

Once pretty much limited to women, pointe shoes are now being donned by more and more male-identifying dancers—for reasons as diverse as the dancers themselves. If you, too, are a pointe-curious guy, allow Bolden and other amazing male dancers to point(e) you in the right direction.
