Oh, the dance–fashion love affair: It's absolutely epic, and tends to makes for absolutely fabulous collabs. The latest case in point(e)? British design house Cos' fashion show in Florence, Italy, which featured dancers clad in the line's new collection performing striking choreo by dance-world darling Wayne McGregor.
Streamed live this morning (Florence time), the show, titled Soma, marked Cos' first foray into the dance world. But it looked like a natural fit: The brand's simple, airy designs move beautifully. (According to British Vogue, they didn't even need to be altered to accommodate the dancers.) And McGregor—who choreographs for dance companies all over the world, and is currently resident choreographer of The Royal Ballet and director of Studio Wayne McGregor—created movement that felt as natural and breezy as the clothes.
